Driver crashes into building near Cal Expo

SACRAMENTO, CA -- A car accelerated into a storefront Monday evening near the Cal Expo in east Sacramento, according to CBS Sacramento.

Sacramento Metro Fire crews responded to the incident on Roselake Avenue shortly before 5:19 p.m.

Photos captured at the scene show minor damage to the structure, as confirmed by reports from firefighters.

It is not immediately clear whether anyone was injured.
