Damages reported in two-car crash near Placerville

EL DORADO COUNTY, CA -- A tow truck was called to the scene of a crash Monday morning involving two vehicles in the Rancho Del Sol neighborhood of Camino, according to California Highway Patrol.

CHP officers responded to the accident at 4160 Snows Road near the intersection of Red Dog Drive at 9:15 a.m.

Little information has been reported on the circumstances behind the crash, but the collision was later said to have occurred in the westbound lanes of Carson Road just east of Snows Road.

Both parties drove to the secondary location near Snows Road and Red Dog after the incident.

The vehicle driven by the reporting party is a company vehicle, and the causing vehicle was unable to park and required towing, suggesting significant damages.

No injuries were reported in the crash as of 8:43 a.m. Monday.
