Crews respond to serious crash near North Natomas Regional Park

SACRAMENTO, CA -- Firefighters responded to a serious single-vehicle accident early Wednesday near Sacramento's North Natomas Regional Park, reports CBS Sacramento.

The crash happened near the intersection of North Bend Drive and Natomas Boulevard.

It was not immediately clear what led up to the accident, but crews had to extricate victims who were trapped in the wrecked vehicle.

Footage captured at the scene show a passenger car at least partially wrapped around a tree.

Authorities have not released information on the number of people injured or the extent of their injuries.
