Crews respond to crash involving pickup truck in north Carmichael

SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA -- A pickup truck collision was reported Monday afternoon in the Wildflower East neighborhood of Carmichael, according to California Highway Patrol.

The accident took place in front of a mortuary located at 4221 Manzanita Avenue shortly before 3:32 p.m.

It is unclear what led up to the crash, but the vehicle was blocking the right southbound lane.

As of 3:51 p.m., CHP has not reported any significant injuries in the accident, but the crash report indicates a fire truck was en route to the scene as a precautionary measure.
