Crash reported near Commerce Gardens in Arden-Arcade

SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA -- A vehicle accident was reported Thursday afternoon in the Commerce Gardens neighborhood in Arden-Arcade, according to California Highway Patrol.

The incident took place on Howe Avenue just south of Northrop Avenue in northeast Sacramento County and was first reported by CHP at 3:40 p.m.

No information has been provided on the vehicles involved or the events leading up the crash, but the vehicles involved came to rest in the roadway and a nearby sidewalk, presenting a traffic hazard.

A tow truck was called to the scene shortly before 4:00 p.m., suggesting significant damages rendering one or more vehicles inoperable.

As of 4:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon, no injuries have been reported.
