Crash delays traffic on I-5 NB near Creekside in north Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, CA -- A vehicle collision Sunday afternoon blocked the shoulder and caused a traffic backup on Interstate 5 northbound near the Creekside neighborhood in north Sacramento, according to TTWN Sacramento.

The incident occurred in the northbound lanes of I-5 south of California Route 70. It was first reported shortly before 2:30 p.m.

Motorists were warned of a stall stretching back to Del Paso Road.

No further updates have been reported on the vehicles involved or any injuries sustained.
