Crash closes lane on I-5 in downtown Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, CA -- A vehicle accident Friday afternoon blocked a right lane on Interstate 5 in downtown Sacramento, according to TTWN Sacramento.

The collision occurred on the southbound lanes of I-5 approaching Q Street. It was first reported by TTWN at 4:10 p.m.

Afternoon commuters were warned of a traffic backup stretching back to Richards Boulevard.
