SACRAMENTO, CA -- A vehicle collision was reported Friday morning on U.S. Highway 50 near Sacramento's Alhambra Triangle neighborhood, according to TTWN Sacramento.
The accident happened on the westbound lanes of the highway approaching Stockton Boulevard. It was first reported by TTWN at 9:10 a.m.

Two lanes were initially reported closed, but by 10:35 p.m., three right lanes became blocked, suggesting a significant crash and response effort.
The event caused a heavy traffic jam, impacting motorists three exits back to Howe Avenue and Power Inn Road.
