Collision delays traffic on I-80 in central Roseville

ROSEVILLE, CA -- A vehicle accident Thursday evening blocked two middle lanes on Interstate 80 near the Folsom Road area in Roseville, according to TTWN Sacramento.

The crash happened on the westbound lanes of the interstate approaching Douglas Boulevard. It was first reported by TTWN at 5:00 p.m.

Authorities initially reported a shoulder was blocked, but by 5:25 p.m., two middle lanes became closed to traffic.

Evening commuters were told to expect a traffic backup stretching two exits down to Taylor Road.
