SACRAMENTO, CA -- A vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon closed two right lanes on U.S. Highway 50 near California State University Sacramento in east Sacramento, according to TTWN Sacramento.

The collision occurred on the westbound lanes of the highway before Stockton Boulevard and was first reported by CHP at 1:15 p.m.
Motorists were delayed by stop-and-go traffic stretched one exit back to 65th Street.
