Collision closes two lanes on Capital City Fwy near east Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, CA -- A vehicle crash Monday evening blocked two left lanes on the Capital City Freeway near McKinley Park in east Sacramento, according to TTWN Sacramento.

The accident happened on the eastbound lanes of the freeway before H Street. It was first reported by TTWN at 5:25 p.m.

Evening commuters were warned of stop-and-go traffic one exit back to the U.S. Highway 50.

By 5:45 p.m., the scene was reported cleared with all lanes reopened.
