Collision closes two lanes on CA-99 in north Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, CA -- A vehicle accident Monday evening blocked two lanes on California Highway 99 near north Sacramento's Natomas Creek area, according to TTWN Sacramento.

The crash occurred on the southbound lanes of the highway before Interstate 5. It was first reported by TTWN shortly after 5:00 p.m.

Evening commuters were warned of a traffic backup stretched one exit back to Elkhorn Boulevard.
