Collision closes multiple lanes on I-80 EB in west Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, CA -- A vehicle collision Wednesday morning blocked three lanes and caused a traffic backup on Interstate 80 eastbound in west Sacramento, according to TTWN Sacramento.

The incident occurred in the eastbound lanes of I-80 near West Capitol Avenue and Enterprise Boulevard near Meadowdale Park. It was first reported by TTWN at 8:15 a.m.

Morning commuters were warned of delays stretching back to Chiles Road and County Road 32.

By 8:45 a.m., the scene was reported cleared.
