Collision closes lane on US-50 WB in east Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, CA -- A vehicle crash Monday afternoon blocked a right lane on U.S. Highway 50 near the Elmhurst area in east Sacramento, according to TTWN Sacramento.

The collision occurred on the westbound lanes of the highway east of 59th Street. It was first reported by TTWN at 3:00 p.m.

Motorists were warned of a major traffic jam stretching back four exits to Watt Avenue.
