Collision closes lane on SR-51 EB near Sacramento's Point West

SACRAMENTO, CA -- A vehicle accident was reported Wednesday evening on the Capital City Freeway near northeast Sacramento's Point West area, according to TTWN Sacramento.

The crash happened on the eastbound lanes of the freeway before Arden Way. It was first reported by TTWN at 5:10 p.m.

Evening commuters were warned of delays impacting traffic back to U.S. Highway 50.
