Collision closes lane on I-80 near East Del Paso Heights

SACRAMENTO, CA -- A vehicle crash Friday morning blocked a left lane on Interstate 80 near Sacramento's East Del Paso Heights neighborhood, according to TTWN Sacramento.

The accident took place on the eastbound lanes of the interstate before Winters Street at 5:45 a.m.

Motorists were warned of gridlock traffic stretching back one exit to Marysville Boulevard and Raley Boulevard.

By 5:50 a.m., the wreck had been moved to the shoulder.
