Collision closes lane on I-5 near Old Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, CA -- A vehicle crash Wednesday evening blocked a center lane and caused delays on Interstate 5 near Old Sacramento, according to TTWN Sacramento.

The crash happened on the southbound lanes of I-5 approaching J Street. It was first reported by TTWN at 4:30 p.m.

Evening commuters were warned of a traffic backup stretching down to the Interstate 80 merge.
