CHP responds to two-vehicle wreck on Greenback Ln in Foothill Farms

SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA -- A two-vehicle accident was reported Monday evening on Greenback Lane off Interstate 80 in Foothill Farms, according to California Highway Patrol.

The collision occurred near the Garfield Avenue intersection and was first reported by CHP shortly before 6:00 p.m.

Few details have been provided, but a white Lexus sedan and a gray pickup truck were involved. Both vehicles came to rest in the roadway and were reported to be blocking the right westbound lanes.

A tow truck was en route to the scene, suggesting considerable damage to at least one vehicle.
