CHP responds to hit-and-run collision on Watt Ave in NE Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, CA -- A hit-and-run collision was reported Thursday evening near northeast Sacramento's Del Paso Park neighborhood, according to California Highway Patrol.

The incident was reported in front of a Wendy's restaurant near the intersection of Watt Avenue and Longview Drive. It was first reported by CHP at 5:40 p.m.

Few details have been released on the parties involved, but authorities said one driver struck a parked vehicle belonging to the reporting party.

CHP indicated no injuries were reported in the event.
