CHP responds to collision on Alta Arden Expy near Arden-Arcade

SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA -- A vehicle accident was reported Wednesday evening in central Arden-Arcade's Arden Village neighborhood, according to California Highway Patrol.

The crash happened at the intersection of Alta Arden Expressway and Watt Avenue and was first reported by CHP at 5:15 p.m.

Details are limited at this time, but CHP said only one vehicle, a gray Nissan Versa, appears to have been involved.

It was not immediately clear what led to the collision, but the vehicle came to rest in the center divider.

As of 5:27 p.m., no significant injuries have been reported.
