Car crash reported on Fruitridge Road, thousands without power

SACRAMENTO, CA - A car accident left nearly 17,000 households without power in eastern Sacramento on Sunday reports KCRA.

The crash happened on Fruitridge Road and knocked out power from 65th Street to Freeport and Folsom Boulevard as well as from Fruitridge Road to 47th Avenue.

The cause of the crash and whether anyone was injured have not yet been disclosed.
