Bicyclist injured in hit-and-run in East Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, CA - A bicyclist was struck by a vehicle on Zinfandel Drive on the east side of the city Thursday night.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened as the biker was in a crosswalk on Zinfandel Drive near US 50.

Emergency responders were called to the scene to treat the person's injuries. Their condition is unknown at this time.

The vehicle fled the scene of the incident.
