Ambulance called after vehicle drives off US 50 near Placerville

PLACERVILLE, CA - Responding officers have requested an ambulance be sent to the Greenstone Road off ramp on US 50 W after a vehicle left the roadway just after noon, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The driver was westbound on US 50 just east of Placerville when the incident occurred. While an ambulance has been called to the scene, we do not know anything about the nature of any injuries at this time.

Tow trucks are currently clearing the debris of the incident.
