Ambulance called after two-vehicle wreck near Strizek Park in North Highlands

SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA -- A two-vehicle accident was reported Tuesday evening in the Highland Terrace area of North Highlands, according to California Highway Patrol.

The collision occurred at the corner of Stephen Drive and Channing Drive, just east of Strizek Park, shortly before 6:00 p.m.

Few details have been provided on the events leading up to the crash, but one vehicle was seen smoking.

CHP has not confirmed any injuries, but an ambulance was en route to the scene.

A tow truck was also required to transport both vehicles, suggesting significant damage.
