Ambulance called after two-car collision near Miller Park in Fair Oaks

SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA -- A two-vehicle accident was reported Monday evening near Miller Park in east Fair Oaks, according to California Highway Patrol.

The collision occurred at the intersection of Kenneth Avenue and Sunset Avenue and was first reported by CHP at 6:39 p.m.

It was not immediately clear what led up to the crash, but a white Toyota Rav4 and a dark sedan were involved. The Toyota came to rest in the roadway and was blocking traffic, while the sedan was able to move to the right hand shoulder.

The CHP traffic incident report indicates an ambulance was required at the scene, suggesting likely injuries to at least one person.

Shortly before 7:00 p.m., the scene had been cleared from the roadway.
