SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA -- A male pedestrian was hit by a vehicle Thursday afternoon near south Fair Oaks, according to California Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Kenneth Avenue and Greenback Lane and was first reported by CHP shortly after 4:00 p.m.
Details are limited at this time, but a witness at the scene said a man was lying in the roadway.
A light-blue sedan was stopped next to the victim, though it was not immediately clear whether or not it was the causing vehicle.
An ambulance was en route to the scene.
As of 4:00 p.m., CHP has not confirmed any significant injuries in the incident.
