Ambulance called after multi-vehicle crash on I-80 near Foothill Farms

SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA -- A multi-vehicle collision was reported Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 80 near Spruce Terrace in Foothill Farms, according to California Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred on the I-80 eastbound offramp to Greenback Lane and was first reported by CHP at 3:24 p.m.

It is unclear what led up to the crash, but at least three vehicles were involved.

A beige Toyota pickup truck, a white Nissan van, and a blue Volkswagen Tiguan were blocking the right hand shoulder.

As of 3:37 p.m., authorities have not yet confirmed any significant injuries in the accident, but medics, fire crews, and CHP officers were all en route to the scene.
