Ambulance called after multi-car crash in El Dorado Hills

EL DORADO COUNTY, CA -- An ambulance was dispatched Thursday afternoon after a crash involving three vehicles near the Crescent Ridge Village area in El Dorado Hills, according to California Highway Patrol.

CHP officers responded to the scene at the intersection of El Dorado Hills Boulevard and Serrano Parkway shortly before 3:00 p.m.

No details have been shared on the circumstances behind the crash, but it involved a silver Nissan Versa, a gray Subaru Outback, and a white Hyundai.

Authorities have not yet confirmed the number of people injured or the extent of their injuries, but an ambulance was en route.

A tow truck was also requested for the silver Nissan Versa, suggesting significant vehicle damage.
