SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA -- An ambulance was dispatched Wednesday afternoon after a collision involving at least four vehicles in the Walnut View Estates neighborhood of Arden-Arcade, according to California Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred near the intersection of Howe Avenue and Woodside Lane shortly before 12:55 p.m.

Limited information has been reported about the incident, but four vehicles have been named in two connected collisions. A black Ford sedan and a white Toyota collided, resulting in the Ford coming to rest on the right hand shoulder and the Toyota in the center divider.

A four-door Volvo and a four-door Lexus collided and were found blocking the roadway.

The undisclosed vehicle of the reporting party ended on the sidewalk. A white sedan was said to be blocking the middle lanes, though it has not been confirmed whether or not this car refers to the white Toyota on the center divider.

An ambulance was requested at the scene, though the number of people injured and the extent of their injuries have not been reported.

Sacramento Fire crews said all northbound lanes on Howe Avenue were blocked as a result of the accident.

A tow truck was en route for the white Volvo, suggesting significant vehicle damage.
