Ambulance called after crash on US-50 near La Riviera

SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA -- An ambulance was requested Thursday afternoon after a collision on U.S. Highway 50 near the Glenbrook East area in La Riviera, according to California Highway Patrol.

The crash happened on the US-50 westbound offramp to Watt Avenue. It was first reported by CHP shortly before 4:00 p.m.

Few details were made available, but the accident left the victim vehicle blocking a center lane.

By 4:14 p.m., the scene had been cleared away from traffic and onto the right hand shoulder.
