SACRAMENTO, CA - A woman was killed after a crash on US-50 eastbound in Sacramento early Thursday morning reports CBS13.
The fatal accident happened around 4 a.m. on the eastbound lanes of US-50 near the 59th Street exit. The woman crashed into water-filled attenuators which caused her vehicle to flip.
A 56-year-old woman driving an SUV along the same path crashed into the wrecked vehicle.
The 25-year-old woman was taken to an area hospital where she died of her injuries. The woman driving the SUV suffered minor injuries.
The identity of the victims has not yet been released. The incident remains under investigation.
