2 Modesto women killed after driver runs stop sign

OAKDALE, CA - Two women died after a three-vehicle crash near Oakdale last Saturday, March 14.

According to ABC10, A 56-year-old woman driving a Honda failed to stop at a stop sign on Bentley Road and Patterson Road. She crashed into a Chevrolet and the two vehicles then crashed into a Volkswagen, causing it to rollover.

The woman driving the Honda and a 31-year-old woman driving the Volkswagen both died from their injuries in the collision.

Two other victims were transported to Memorial Medical Center with injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
