2 injured in single-vehicle crash, DUI suspected

FAIRFIELD, CA - Two people were injured after a driver crashed their pickup in Fairfield early Saturday morning, reports FOX40.

A driver went offroad and crashed near Manuel Campos Parkway and Dickson Hill Road around 3 a.m. They struck several trees before coming to a rest.

The driver and passenger both sustained injuries in the crash.

Officials believe drugs or alcohol may have been contributing factors. It's not clear whether an arrest was made at this time.
