1 dead after colliding with tree in Lemon Hills

SACRAMENTO, CA - A man was killed when his vehicle collided with a tree in the Fruitridge Manor neighborhood around midnight last night, reports CBS13.

The incident occurred at 5900 block of 64th Street. Police initiated CPR in an attempt to save the man's life, but he was pronounced dead at the scene soon after.

Authorities are still uncertain about the cause of the accident.

The driver's name has not yet been released to the public.
